ManyBirds compares Forster's Terns to Common Tern

with puzzling field marks

About 15 terns were resting together on rocks along Braunig lake near San Antonio TX on 20 February 2007. Note their various plumages (spring is approaching). Several birders wrote to declare all to be Forster's Terns, even the last one. - Malcolm Mark Swan
