Ruffs are common Eurasian sandpipers. Some wander to the Western Hemisphere. This Ruff was detected on a Victor Emanuel Nature Tour on 12 April 2008. Presumably a female, this "reeve" was recorded in 1080/30p High-definition, but she was so distant (200-300 feet) that the footage had to be cropped and shown at lower resolutions. |
